Gucci Mane and Waka Flocka Flame put together the ?Ferrari Boyz album? which the fans have been waiting on for some time now. Warner Bros Records was behind the release (with 1017 Brick Squad/Mizay Entertainment Inc./Brick Squad Monopoly?(BSM)) and they were nice enough to allow me to get an advanced ?Ferrari Boyz album? listening session before the scheduled release date of August 9th. As a fan of Gucci Mane who has been listening to his material since his Chicken Talk mixtape, it was nice to hear what he and Waka Flocka could do with this latest release as the ?Ferrari Boyz? or ?Rarri Boyz.? Before I even listened to the album, I expected it to have some really raw material for the streets.

Obviously since I?m up to date with all of my 1017 Brick Squad Muzik, I have been up to date with all of their latest projects including:
In other words, I know that 1017 Brick Squad and the BSM: Brick Squad Monopoly has had things on lock for awhile now. There were a few tracks that I knew would be on the Ferrari Boyz album including the title track ?Ferrari Boyz,? ?She Be Puttin On,? ?I Don?t See You,? ?Young Niggaz,? and ?Mud Musik? because they were all featured on previous mixtapes that had been out for awhile. With that said, they were obvious bangers and really helped build up some hype for the album. Additionally, the versions on the album are mastered and sound significantly better than the versions that originally appeared on the mixtapes.

Gucci Mane & Waka Flocka ? Ferrari Boyz Video (Salute Me or Shoot Me 3 Version)
Gucci Mane is in a yella thang and it?s so nasty that it might ?give a bitch road rage.? I have had this song on repeat all summer and I really can?t get enough of Gucci Mane and Waka Flocka on this track. Both of them link up for one hell of an anthem to their group ?Ferrari Boyz? as well as the title of their album ?Ferrari Boyz.? Plus once he cut the blinker on, now his diamonds dancing. Unfortunately, the media has been portraying him as ?Charles Manson? lately, but he addresses it in this track.
The chorus sang by Gucci Mane goes as follows:
?Get out my lane, Ferrari Boyz, you see the chain, So Icey Boyz (Burr Burr).?
Waka Flocka later adds:
?I?m just lane changing chain swangin, lane changing chain swangin (Ferrari Boyz).?
Flocka continues saying, ?all my bandanas like Santana? and ?made a million off my words they in love with my country grammar? as Flocka is screaming ?flex flex flex flex!? Plus his name ?ring bells? and his engine ?loud as hell? and his engine cost about ?two hundred thirty bills.? If you don?t like this song, I not only feel bad for you, but have to say that you probably shouldn?t be listening to this album in the first place. Not only is this the opening track, but this is one of the biggest bangers for the streets that I?ve heard in a long time.
You might have heard this song on mixtapes throughout the summer, but this mastered album version has some different edits and the sound quality is superior compared to the versions found on the mixtapes. This version has some talking from Flocka at the beginning saying ?what?s happening man? So Icey Boy, Brick Squad Monopoly as well as Flocka saying ?squad? in addition to Gucci?s ?squad? at the beginning. It also has the ?get out my lane? echoing throughout the beginning which sounds super dope. Oh and Drumma Boy laid down the crazy instrumental in case you didn?t know.

2. 15th And The 1st (feat. YG Hootie) (prod. Southside)
Gucci Mane opens up the track with some vicious lines over an absolutely nasty instrumental. There were tons of quotables in this song, but some Gucci Mane lyrics that I took note of were:
?There?s a white girl in town, her name is cocaine, there?s some dirty birds in town Gucci Mane and Waka Flame.?
?I pitch like Nolan Ryan, got cocaina flyin/fryin (skurr), my partners stick up kids, duct tape rope they gon tie it, in the bushes they lyin in that?s my word.?
?You cross Brick Squad, you get hurt I got work (Gucci!).?
Waka Flocka Flame handles the chorus on the second track with the following lyrics:

I should note that Gucci Mane does contribute some adlibs like ?nyoom? (or ?vroom?) to the chorus if you listen carefully.
Waka Flocka Flame goes in with some real gritty street rhymes:
?Where I?m from niggas shootin at the cops.?
?5 grand for a head shot, but don?t be no Flinstones when you get your Bed Rocked.?
?Triple red drop, offsets do the ?pop n lock?.?
?Lay your ass down if you do too much braggin, three K?s four glocks that?s swaggin.?

There is a feature from YG Hootie and he does work and represents well for the 1017 Brick Squad. In case you don?t know, YG Hootie has been down with the clique and is an O.G. whenever you?re talking about the Gucci Mane 1017 camp. This feature wasn?t random at all, it?s one of the main homies and you should know that if you?re listening to this album.
This track is nothing short of a banger to follow up the introductory track. I think that ?Ferrari Boyz? is a better song, but there?s no way that you can hate on this track if you?re looking for that real street music. All around certified street banger, so I?m going to say that they?re 2/2 with the first two tracks. I especially liked the heavy bass on this track that accompanied Flocka screaming over the chorus. Oh and big shouts out to Joshua ?Southside? Luellen for bringing the heat on this second track with this ridiculous instrumental, the beat has multiple ideas within and is straight audio piff.
Rating: 5/5 ? Gucci Mane and Waka Flocka go absolutely bananas on this second track and let the people know that all the hoods love them like the 15th and the 1st. They burping hundreds on this one, slurring their words, in the undertaker cars, and Gucci is nice enough to say ?excuse me? if you listen closely after the burps.
3. Break Her (prod. Schife)
This instrumental sounds like a crunk mincing in the initial seconds and then Flocka starts talking, the bass picks up, and Flocka starts rapping while screaming some ?Riverdale Riverdale? adlibs a couple times to let the people know where he?s from (Riverdale, Georgia).
Some Waka Flocka lyrics that stood out in this track included:
?I have no feelings, I?m one cold hearted nigga, might catch me with your sister, autograph my picture, I won?t ever kiss her, pills weed and some liquor.?
Once again we have Waka Flocka taking care of the chorus:
?You know imma break her, bitch come and choose up, I done stepped my game up, gotta house outta her, she done bought me rangs bruh, got a chain outta her, I just pimp hard mane, me and a Gucci Mane.?
Then Gucci Mane literally attacks the beat coming out spitting like his life depended on it. It seriously sounds like someone lit him on fire and threw him in the booth. You can tell that he read the beat perfectly and rode it harder than most artists are capable of because he has so much experience and has logged more time in the studio than most artists will their entire lives. The production was handled by Schife from Karbeen Music Inc. and he did an awesome job with the beat.
Rating: 4/5 ? The chorus is solid from Flocka Flame, Gucci Mane absolutely crushes this track, and the album continued with some more hardcore rhyming for the streets. The duo let you know that they are focused on money and do the pimpin.
4. Feed Me (feat. Frenchie) (prod. Southside)
Gucci Mane takes over the start of the track over a filthy beat starting out slowly by saying ?It?s Gucci, squad! Okay.? He lets the people know that Kori (Anders) was on the engineering for Patchwork saying, ?Kori engineering, Gucci Mane steering.? In case you don?t know who Kori is, he has been Gucci Mane?s engineer for awhile now. I remember him being shouted out back on ?Heavy? where Gucci said ?What?s up Kori??
?Flocka told me go in, Rocko told me go in, PJ told me no end, my hand I won?t throw in, gamble with the joker, and end up in a shootout, Wooh he on the lookout, Juiceman throwin cookouts (Gucci!).?
Waka Flocka Flame takes care of the chorus duties singing:
?I?m in the strip club, the girls lookin like zombies on the pole they screaming feed me, feed me, feed me, and when the club over with the monsters making scary movies girls be screaming, screaming, screaming, screaming.?
In case you don?t recognize it, this track features a guest appearance from 1017 Brick Squad?s own Frenchie. Frenchie steps up to the plate and does his damn thing. He ?left a hundred dollars on the dresser just to show em it ain?t nothing.? This is an anthem for people that want to get freaky at the strip clubs, hopefully get this in rotation over at Magic City.
Rating: 4/5 ? This track absolutely bangs and although the chorus is fairly elementary, it sounds too damn catchy to ignore. Upon initial listen, I didn?t like it as much as I did when giving the album another listen.
5. Mud Musik (feat. 2 Chainz a.k.a. Tity Boi) (prod. Southside)
This is a song that you might have heard on Waka Flocka?s latest ?Du Flocka Rant mixtape? which I referenced at the top of this article. Anyways, although it was already out in its entirety for the fans through mixtapes, it makes a perfect addition to this ?Ferrari Boyz album.? The producer Southside (on the Track) comes through with another banger.
Flocka takes over and lets people know on the chorus:
I just slow sip, po po pour me up
Styrofoam cup, trip trip tripled up
This that mud drink, 4 ounces in a 1 liter

Waka Flocka tells the people, ?niggas will give they life, just to live my life.? He also lets you know that his ?Rarri go hard in the paint? and that he ?keep mud on standby? and that he has some ?real niggas that you can?t even stand by.? Without quoting any more lyrics, you can tell that he spazzed on this track despite the fact that it?s a little bit slower (cuz they?re slow sippin).
Some of my favorite Gucci Mane lyrics on this track included:
?I?m a Jack boy, you a jackass, you must dress in the dark with your tacky ass.?
?I?m a millionaire, it?s reality, you want a mil, that?s a fucking dream.?
?I?m on mine, got 2 nines, throw my watch in the air and let time fly.?
You also should probably be familiar with the artist 2 Chainz (formerly known as Tity Boi) because he?s affiliated with Ludacris? DTP (Disturbing Tha Peace) label. He has been around for awhile and managed to contribute a pretty solid verse to ?Mud Musik.?
Here?s one line from 2 Chainz:
?Brick squad dufflebag bunch of knuckle head niggas saying fuck the feds, my bread long like subway, Louie?s on unlaced.?
As a whole, this track was a dope anthem to slow sipping, and it went hard, and was geared towards the streets. If you?ve been down with Gucci and Flocka from day one, you expect songs like these to come through. I also feel like Southside should get credit for coming up with a dope instrumental.
Rating: 5/5 ? An anthem to drinking that ?mud drank? in a ?Styrofoam cup? while listening to that ?mud music.?
6. In My Business (feat. Rocko) (prod. Southside)
The song ?In My Business? is crazy and Southside supplied more fire for the Ferrari Boyz to rap over. I think that Gucci Mane is the all around MVP. Here are some bars that he spits on this track:
?I?m not a blogger, and I?m not a jogger, I?m more like a mobster, just call me a baller.?
?Gucci?s a hustler and he got clientele, always got something to sell, just pullin your coattail, you hate me then oh well, I trapped outta hotel, but now I get fan mail, rap game at a standstill.?
?Gon spin like a windmill, I lower the wind chill, see I got a good deal, but know what the hood feel.?
Gucci Mane on the chorus:
?Yeah I stay busy, stay out my business, cuz I ride Benz?s ay that?s my business, see out my lenses, are dark and tinted, cuz I don?t like people in my business, in my business, all in my business, if it ain?t bout business, then I?m not listenin.?
Waka Flocka raps, ?Grew up round Rarris and drug dealers,? as well as ?I?m the new Guy Fisher.? He continues with, ?Why they in my business? My name ring bells throughout the prisons.? There are a few ?bow bow bow bow? adlibs thrown in from Waka Flame throughout his verse and all around he does work.
There is one more guest feature on this track from Rocko and he does his thing, but for me Gucci Mane really shined as the all-star on this joint. I?m pretty sure that by now, most people will understand the direction of this album: straight up real raps for the streets over fire instrumentals.
Rating: 4/5 ? Although the chorus is repetitive, it is catchy and both of the Ferrari Boyz tear up the instrumental that was chosen.
7. My Block (prod. Southside)
Waka Flocka Flame on the chorus:
?Poppin beans sellin beans on my block, Blowin loud sellin loud on my block, Rocks in my socks runnin from the cops, That?s how I rock when you on my block. Big rims bad hoes on my block, Gang bangin flag hanging on my block, Flippin packs tryna get the latest drop, That?s how we rock nigga when you on the block.?
Gucci Mane breaks this track open with the first verse after that crazy chorus from Waka Flocka Flame. A couple of Gucci Mane lines that I liked included:
?That white girl I used to love her, I?m throwin up.?
?I?m out my mind, I?m going loco, I?m in a limo, I blow 10 cigarillos, I?m smoking guido.?
?From the block, we gives a fuck, about a blog.?
Waka Flocka then drops his verse and lets the people know how they rock on his block.
I originally thought that Waka Flocka?s energy on the chorus was the highlight of this track, but I?ve got to give the MVP on this joint to Southside. How he was able to come up with an instrumental like this is crazy, he?s in his own lane and on a whole nother level compared to most producers down south. This is the winning formula for artists like Flocka and Gucci and they both came up with slick verses and a chorus to complement the beat well. All around hard as a muffucka.
Rating: 5/5 ? There aren?t really any words, just know that they go actually go H.A.M. (Kanye West and Jay-Z should take note; this is what H.A.M. actually is). This is THE hardest track on the album.
8. Young Niggaz (prod. Southside)
Even though Gucci Mane is about 30 years old and Waka Flocka is about 25, they still roll with the ?young niggaz? and let you know that they haven?t lost their step or swag. The track as a whole delivers and most people will really like the melody of this track. It?s got another unique sounding instrumental courtesy of Joshua ?Southside? and the people are definitely going to love this track.
The chorus from Gucci Mane goes as follows:
?My pants saggin low like a young niggaz, I?m twistin up the dro like a young nigga, I?m in the club 30 deep like a young nigga, I?m still in the streets like a young nigga, for the young nigga this one for the young niggaz, where you from nigga? This one for the young niggaz.?
Waka Flocka Flame is also ?twistin fingaz in the club like a young nigga? and lets the people know that they ?shootin at the police just for fun nigga.? He then has ?Ray Charles vision? and is screamin ?where?s the competition??
Rating: 5/5 ? The electric guitar riffs in the background combined with the bass and drums make for a slammin instrumental. Gucci takes care of business with the chorus, and Flocka yells at the people. That?s what?s up.
9. Suicide Homicide (feat. Wooh Da Kid) (prod. Southside)
This instrumental is a bit different from Southside and sounds cool, but isn?t quite as much of a banger as the joints before this one. I don?t dislike the instrumental, but I?m just not quite as into it as the tracks before it. With that said, it?s still a solid instrumental for the Ferrari Boyz to go in on. The song itself definitely doesn?t send a good message to the young people listening, but then again, is their goal to send a positive message? No. The song injects fear into the mind of the listener, but Gucci and Flocka know what goes down in the streets of East Atlanta, so if you understand them and where they came from, you?ll understand why they made this track.
The first part of the chorus by Waka Flocka Flame goes:
?Suicide paint, suicide rims, suicide loud, I got them suicide friends, suicide bitches they?ll kill for a nigga, call it suicide run up on me fuck nigga.?
Gucci Mane handles the second part/section of the chorus with:
?Homicide purp, homicide vert, homicide your ass put your ass on a shirt, homicide ice, homicide life, homicide your kids and your motherfuckin wife (catch up!)?
Wooh Da Kid contributes a verse at the end courtesy of the 1017 Brick Squad/BSM: Brick Squad Monopoly. If you have listened to Wooh in the past, you already know what to expect. He delivers a typical Wooh Da Kid verse, going hard while adding a few growls in the process.
My favorite line though came from Gucci Mane:
?Suicide it?s a homicide, I smoked so much my brain fried.?
Rating: 3/5 ? The instrumental isn?t quite as strong as earlier songs and the concept of this track wasn?t one that I personally enjoyed.
10. I Don?t See You (feat. Ice Burgandy) (prod. Southside)
Just by hearing the opening seconds of the instrumental to this track, I could already tell that ?I Don?t See You? was going to be a banger. I had already heard it on mixtapes, but I?m glad that they had it after the ?Suicide Homicide? track because I needed a song to pick up the slack again and get things back on track.
Gucci Mane drops a ridiculous verse, or should I say ?rebriculous??
?Tatted like a biker, smoking like a Marley.?
?Waka Flocka Flame my right hand, green flag same color Sprite can, Gucci Mane call me the ice man.?
The chorus is done by Gucci Mane and goes as follows:
?Like a nigga wit a blindfold, I don?t see you niggas, I do it with my eyes closed, I don?t see you niggas, in the club with some shades on, I don?t see you niggas, you bustas got the game wrong, I don?t see you niggas.?
Waka Flocka has ?that Ray Charles swag,? going along with the theme of the song because he ?can?t see you niggas.? He admits that cash rules everything around him and he calls out the artists that aren?t on his level saying, ?I?m a hall of famer / pussy nigga you a pro.?
Ice Burgandy comes through with his Air Maxes on and lets the people know that he?s getting money 24/7 and reppin his green flag on the block. ?It?s Burgandy Burr Burr Gandy, same nigga that beat the murder and the burglary.? If you don?t know who Ice Burgandy is, just keep in mind that he?s been rolling with the 1017 Brick Squad clique for awhile now and has been featured on music with Gucci Mane and Flocka Flame for awhile as well.
Rating: 5/5 ? This is one of the most gutta tracks of the year, because they really don?t see anyone on their level as far as being real in the industry and grinding as hard as them.
11. PacMan (prod. Southside)
The song ?PacMan? was easily among my favorite tracks on the album, especially of the songs that weren?t already included on mixtapes. I know that it was featured in a promo video for the Ferrari Boyz album, but most people had no clue what was coming when they saw the brief promotional clip. I believe that a music video should be coming soon too. Southside knows the exact sound that the people need to hear, and this track is blazing.
?Everybody know I got a sack man, I got the whole hood shopping when the pac ends, ya never mix business with new friends, all black Benz you can call me Pacman.?
Waka Flocka Flame drops some banging opening bars:
?25 to 10, 9 and a 45 on me, I don?t need no homies, do it by my lonely, see before gangstas, see they so gusto, 24-7 all I do is hustle.?
?Hit the club 50 deep, fuck a bodyguard.?
Rating: 5/5 ? PacMan is a banger that all fans of the Ferrari Boyz will bring back multiple times before even moving on to listen to the next track.
12. Stoned (prod. Shawty Redd)
Finally an instrumental from someone other than Southside! The long time producer for Gucci Mane and a heap of other southern artists, Shawty Redd lays the foundation for ?Stoned.? The instrumental itself is pretty solid, but doesn?t have quite as much energy as some of the earlier tracks.
Fortunately, Gucci Mane drops a catchy chorus for the people:
?Let?s get stoned, I?m so stoned, like Fred Flintstone, I got a partner named Barney and he keep me in the zone, the whole club stoned, the whole world stoned, and tonight we bout to party like we just came home.?
I thought that the chorus on this one was pretty comical, even though I liked it. The song itself is an anthem to partying and ?getting stoned? for all of the people that like to smoke marijuana.
Rating: 3/5 ? The track has a catchy chorus and decent instrumental, but it?s not as good as some of the other material on the Ferrari Boyz album.
13. She Be Puttin On (feat. Slim Dunkin) (prod. Southside)
This is a song that?s dedicated to all of the females out there that are ?putting on? for themselves by paying their own bills and aren?t dependent upon men for their money. Basically it?s for all of the independent women of the world. It was produced by Southside, but earlier rumors say that it was produced by 808 Mafia which would add Lex Luger to the combination. In case you didn?t know 808 Mafia isn?t a single producer, it?s both Southside and Lex Luger teaming up; they go by the name 808 Mafia when working together.
Gucci Mane on the chorus:
?She be putting on, a job, her swag, she stuntin, she the type don?t never ever ask for nothing, she pay her own bills cuz she got her own money.?
Waka Flocka tells what he?s looking for in a girl: someone that will make breakfast for him on the table, have his blunt rolled up at the table, as well as Sprite (probably dirty) on the table. I had to laugh at this line: ?Pass the syrup, I?m finna fuck the food up.?
Gucci Mane?s girl ?came over in a trench coat? and she has ?swag like a top model,? ?curves like a Coke bottle,? and has him ?walking with a slight wobble.? He also says that he?s stunting on a half a pill and asks whether the people know what ?gone in 60 seconds is? and lets them know it?s a movie. Hopefully you have seen Gone In 60 Seconds to know what he?s talking about (it?s a movie with Nicholas Cage).
Slim Dunkin makes an appearance on the final version of this track, so if you weren?t prepared for him to be included, you might be surprised. He does what he?s supposed to do and delivers a pretty good verse as a guest. Slim has done a lot of tracks with Gucci and Waka over the years, so it didn?t really surprise me to see him featured here.
Rating: 5/5 ? This was a good single to choose for the Ferrari Boyz album. All around solid track and an anthem for all of the independent women out there who don?t need a man to be ?putting on? for them.
14. So Many Things (prod. Fatboi)
Although this was designed to be a slower song, it takes away from the energy and momentum that the duo had been building up. With that said, I?m glad this track was included more towards the end of the album instead of near the beginning. I will say that ?So Many Things? was my least favorite song on the album. Both Gucci and Waka spit some real bars, but as a whole, it just doesn?t have the same energy as the rest of the album.
Waka Flocka Flame rhymes:
?I?m smoking on reefer, Me Gucci and Wiz Khalifa.?
Since Flocka mentioned Wiz Khalifa, I think that he would have actually made a pretty good addition to this song. Anyways, Gucci Mane takes over the chorus letting you know that he?s also ?smoking on reefer, coming through your speaker, riding in my 2 seater, sellin work like it ain?t illegal? and more. I?m not going to post up the full chorus, but just know that it?s a slower song compared to the rest of the album and wasn?t a personal favorite.
Rating: 2/5 ? The track didn?t really seem like it fits well on the Ferrari Boyz album but was a decent overall song with some real lyrics.
15. Too Loyal (feat. Slim Dunkin) (prod. Fatboi)
This is definitely a much better track than ?So Many Things? and it actually sounds like it belongs on the Ferrari Boyz album. I know that Fatboi is capable of producing some pure dopeness for La Flare and Flocka Flame, and he manages to come up with something pretty cool for the Rarri Boyz here with a guest appearance from Slim Dunkin.
On the chorus handled by Gucci Mane, he says:
?I?m too fuckin loyal, you too fuckin spoiled, bitch I?m gone off that oil, Brick Squad we ball.?
Waka Flocka Flame says ?call me a one hit wonder I?ll switch my flow up / drive no hands with Roscoe Dash now I blown up? and ?I love to throw hundreds screaming stripper bitch drown.? Then Slim Dunkin steps up in the booth and delivers an average verse.

16. What The Hell (prod. Drumma Boy)
This is the closing track to the album and is pretty solid, especially since Gucci Mane opens up. ?Although it didn?t go as H.A.M. as earlier songs on the album, it still was a good conclusion. ?Drumma Boy laid the foundation for this one and did a pretty nice job with it.

Gucci Mane sounds like he?s gone crazy on this one:

I liked the line from Waka Flocka where he said, ?Shawty want an 8 ball told her call Gucci? because in the song ?Call Waka? from the O.G. ?Lebron Flocka James mixtape? (presented by DJ Teknikz) samples a Gucci Mane line that goes ?Shawty want an 8 ball tell her call Waka.?
Rating: 4/5 ? A solid ending to the Ferrari Boyz album and an ode to all the bail that Gucci Mane has posted and time that he?s done at the Fulton County jail.

Gucci Mane & Waka Flocka Flame ? Ferrari Boyz Album Review (Final Grade)
A lot of people when listening to hip hop music fail to take into account other aspects of music besides lyrics, which is where I can see some hate come into play for Gucci Mane and Waka Flocka Flame. But at the end of the day, if you like what you?ve heard from Gucci Mane and Waka Flocka Flame in the past (on their mixtapes and albums), then you?re going to love what they did with Ferrari Boyz.
The production from Southside is what really complemented both Gucci Mane and Waka Flocka so I think that he definitely deserves proper credit. I like what they did by not allowing many guests other than their 1017 Brick Squad and Brick Squad Monopoly (BSM) family. These two are capable of making some of the rawest music for the streets and put a huge emphasis on first getting good beats to lay the foundation for their songs, then crafting a chorus as catchy as possible, and finally laying verses laden with adlibs to motivate people.

What I like about both Gucci Mane and Waka Flocka Flame is that they don?t try to be something that they?re not on this album. They don?t try to do someone else, they just keep it real and stay true to their own swag that they bring to the game. Each of them has evolved considerably as artists and human beings over the past few years. With all of Flocka?s success and Gucci Mane getting locked up (I don?t even know how many times). Hopefully both continue to focus on what they like to do while giving back to their respective communities in Georgia.
Some of you might know that Meka from 2DopeBoyz.com describes Juicy J?s music with the hash tag #IgnorantBrilliance. Well, that?s exactly how I feel about this Ferrari Boyz album: ?Ignorant Brilliance.? Obviously it?s not meant to be the most lyrical music you?ve ever heard (in fact, I watched an interview where Waka Flocka actually got offended that someone called him ?lyrical? so that?s why in my review I did my best to refrain from using mentions of lyricism. The production slaps and is banging throughout, and Gucci Mane and Waka Flocka Flame have a style of delivery that is phenomenal.
At the end of the day, it comes down to making music that people can enjoy. If you are already a fan of Gucci Mane and Flocka Flame, then I guarantee you will enjoy this project. This album has good beats, catchy choruses, some catchy quotes, and catchy melodies. The Ferrari Boyz album accomplished everything it needed to and has one of the rawest southern sounds from Georgia that I?ve heard in a long time. I?ll definitely be hoping that Gucci Mane and Waka Flocka do a follow up collaboration ?Ferrari Boyz 2 album? at some point in the future. In the meantime, check out my final thoughts and get out my lane.
Final thoughts:
I am wondering what ever happened to Zaytoven and Gucci Mane collaborations. It seemed like that used to be his right-hand man and now they are totally in their separate lanes. I?m not going to complain though because Southside is arguably the hottest producer in the south right now. Drumma Boy still proves that he can make beats just as good as anyone and Fatboi is another one of the main homies who has some big time hits with 1017 Brick Squad and company.

As you should know though, the A&R?s behind the project were ?Coach K? (Kevin Lee), Liza Joseph, Summer Yokely (for 1017 Brick Squad) and TaVon Sampson for BlaQOuT Deisgn for the artwork direction and design. You probably have heard of ?Coach K? getting shoutouts on the mixtapes because I know that I have.?All of these people deserve a ton of credit for putting out one of the hottest albums I?ve heard in awhile. ?Obviously I really liked the Kendrick Lamar Section 80 album and the Big Sean Finally Famous album, but for me, this album is going to get just as much play.
What to expect from Gucci Mane and Waka Flocka Flame in the future?
In the meantime, what can you expect from Gucci Mane and Waka Flocka Flame in the future to follow up this album? I?m well aware that Waka Flocka Flame is going to be putting out a collaboration mixtape with Slim Dunkin in the future and that he?s also working on Lebron Flocka James 3. There are also going to be mixtape releases from Frenchie and Wooh Da Kid (I believe that they are doing a collaboration mixtape at some point). Since Gucci Mane is finally out of jail, hopefully he takes it easy and makes a conscious change in his life so that he doesn?t end up locked up again and we don?t have a ?Writing on the Wall 3 mixtape.?
I?m sure that Gucci Mane will be on his mixtape grind, get plenty of calls to be featured in songs, and will be working on his next solo album as well. His grind these days is hard to beat and really the only artist besides Waka Flocka that?s grinding like no other is Lil Wayne. I could even argue that Rick Ross has been on his grind too, but I still have to give props to Gucci Mane La Flare for delivering on his latest album. ?Be sure to go out and support by purchasing a copy if you?re a true fan.
